“A CHANCE FOR CHILDREN“ –
A RELIEF PROJECT FOR ORPHANS IN UGANDA.

Stefan and Gabi Pfleger are founders of the association A Chance for Children, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria, and in Kampala, Uganda, Central Africa. Since being recognised as Austrian of the year for their humanitarian work together with Ulrich Huber, the association has experienced continuous and sustainable growth. It employs more than 150 staff, offers 2,000 orphans daily accommodation, education and meals, runs 13 schools as well as a school for disabled children. Construction is currently underway on a second school and an integrated home for disabled children. With local farms, the organisation is also able to provide several meals a week to 7,000 school children in Uganda. Ulrich Huber travels to Uganda multiple times a year to visit the children and the facilities.

UH Invest is actively involved in the aid project and campaigns for the financial support and necessary public relations work, which is indispensable for success. By providing schooling and vocational training, the organisation provides these children with an outstanding chance at being able to support themselves later in life.
